| Description | Yamaha's YTS-280 saxophones are superb starter instruments. Relatively light-weight and ergonomically shaped, they are easy to hold and to play. The intonation is perfect, as you would expect from Yamaha, and it is easy to get a great sound. The Yamaha design offers beginners optimum support, thus greatly assisting both learning progress and creativity. Based on the acclaimed YTS-275 saxophones, the new YTS-28s are enhanced with a new, more stable neck receiver and a new low B-C# connection for better adjustment. New neck receiver with a durable screw A redesigned neck receiver promotes a quick response and ease of play while also increasing the durability of the mechanism. Improved Low B-C# connection An improved mechanism from low B-C# ensures the consistent closing of the low C# key and promotes a clear response from notes in the low range of the instrument.
Adjustable thumb-rest All Yamaha saxophones feature an adjustable thumb-rest to allow for precise and comfortable hand and fingering position.

- DPD are our preferred courier partner, alongside A Post and if they are experiencing unusually large volumes of deliveries there may be unexpected delays.

Ordering times.
- Order before 1pm: Despatched the same day*
- Order after 1pm: Despatch will be the following day* though we will attempt to despatch same day* wherever possible.
- Order after 1pm on a Friday: Despatch will be the following Monday
- Order on a Saturday or Sunday: Despatch will be the following Monday
- If you have a preferred delivery day, enter this in the comments section of the order form.
* Despatch is subject to stock availability and excludes weekends and bank holidays
Delivery Charges.
- If you purchase several items, the shopping basket will show a total delivery charge but we may be able to reduce this charge - we will contact you if this is the case.
- Next day deliveries to Northern Ireland are available at extra cost. Please contact us for details. Where a price includes delivery, this is for the Republic of Ireland only.
- If you have different delivery requirements, please state this on the order form as you proceed through the check out. If we cannot comply, we will contact you immediately.
- Delivery charges are based on region and will need to be determined and agreed, prior to online purchase.
