| Description | The projection and power of this violin must be felt and heard in person, so please call instore and try this violin out for yourself!! Paolo Sorgentone - Graduated in 1982 at the International School of Violin Making, in Cremona under the guidance of Francesco Bissolotti. He has made around 250 instruments, played in orchestras all over the world! HE dedicates himself also, to the restoration of antique instruments, to the study of the history of the violin making, especially Tuscan makers, and not least, to the training of students. Michele Mecatti - Michele Mecatti graduated in 1986 at the International School of Violin Makers in Cremona studying with Maestro Vincenzo Bissolotti. In 1988 he moved to France to specialise in restoration, and worked in Rue de Rome, Paris until 1990 with the teachers Pierre Barthel and Bernard Sabatier. In 1990 in Paris he appreniced in the maintenance and the restoration of bows in the workshop of Jean and Pierre Grunberger. Since 1998, the workshop is a reference point for string players. The workshops main activity is the construction of new instruments, entirely handcrafted, using traditional methods and top quality seasoned materials, resulting in the creation of genuine masterpieces recognizable for personality, style and acoustic qualities. The workshop promotes the construction of instruments based on models of the 18th Century Tuscan Luthiers. Restoration and repairs on antique instruments are carried out having expertise and conservation as rules. |

- All deliveries are typically next day from despatch, with delivery before 18.00pm

- DPD are our preferred courier partner, alongside A Post and if they are experiencing unusually large volumes of deliveries there may be unexpected delays.

Ordering times.
- Order before 1pm: Despatched the same day*
- Order after 1pm: Despatch will be the following day* though we will attempt to despatch same day* wherever possible.
- Order after 1pm on a Friday: Despatch will be the following Monday
- Order on a Saturday or Sunday: Despatch will be the following Monday
- If you have a preferred delivery day, enter this in the comments section of the order form.
* Despatch is subject to stock availability and excludes weekends and bank holidays
Delivery Charges.
- If you purchase several items, the shopping basket will show a total delivery charge but we may be able to reduce this charge - we will contact you if this is the case.
- Next day deliveries to Northern Ireland are available at extra cost. Please contact us for details. Where a price includes delivery, this is for the Republic of Ireland only.
- If you have different delivery requirements, please state this on the order form as you proceed through the check out. If we cannot comply, we will contact you immediately.
- Delivery charges are based on region and will need to be determined and agreed, prior to online purchase.
